By installing or using the PDF Merge & Split browser extension ("the Extension"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Extension.

2. Description of Service

PDF Merge & Split is a browser extension that allows users to merge multiple PDF files into one document and split PDF files into separate documents. All processing occurs locally within your browser - files are never uploaded to any server.

3. Free and Pro Versions

The Extension offers both free and paid (Pro) versions:

• Free Version: Limited to 5 operations per day and merging up to 3 files at once.
• Pro Version: Unlimited operations, unlimited file merging, and additional features including PDF compression, password protection, and more.

4. Payment and Subscriptions

Pro features are available through:

• Monthly subscription ($5/month)
• Annual subscription ($29/year)
• Lifetime license ($49 one-time payment)

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel anytime through your Stripe customer portal.

5. Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the Pro version within 30 days of purchase, contact us at support@pdftools.site for a full refund.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the Extension only for lawful purposes
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or distribute the Extension
• Not use the Extension to process documents you do not have rights to

7. Intellectual Property

The Extension, including its code, design, and documentation, is owned by WebFox and protected by copyright laws. Your purchase of a Pro license grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Extension.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Extension is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Extension will be error-free or uninterrupted. We are not responsible for any loss of data that may occur during use.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WebFox shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Extension.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
